  • A ganglion-blocking agent originally used in the treatment of severe hypertension; pentamethylene-1,5-bis-(1-methyl-pyrrolidinium) hydrogen tartrate, C₂₃H₄₂N₂O₁₂. More fully "pentolinium tartrate".
