A mineral of the axinite group, Ca₂Mn2+Al₂BSi₄O₁₅OH, which crystallizes in the triclinic system, and occurs in pegmatite formations. More generally: an axinite with a composition near to this, specifically one with a high proportion of calcium, and with a greater proportion of manganese than iron.
