A family of US actors. Henry Fonda (1905–82) was noted for his roles in such films as "The Grapes of Wrath" (1940) and "Twelve Angry Men" (1957). He won his only Oscar for his role in his final film, "On Golden Pond" (1981). His daughter Jane (born 1937) is known for films including "Klute" (1971), for which she won an Oscar, and "The China Syndrome" (1979); she also acted alongside her father in "On Golden Pond".
